Thermal Design Point Engineering / Heat Load Input

We can assess the heat load in an application and define the thermal design point. From there we can establish the general footprint and size of a cooling tower to serve the facility.  

Conduct Independent Study

Based on the needs of the project, we can conduct a study to determine potential solutions. The output of these studies is typically technical detail on different solutions with associated costing and construction needs for each. 

Inspection

For existing sites and site expansions, we execute a deep dive inspection of the existing cooling tower.

Specification Development

We can draft a project specification custom for the application that focuses on design needs and material requirements, but also construction and safe work considerations for cooling tower erection. 

Bid Event Support

Our team can assist with facilitating all aspects of a bid event. This includes leading the pre-bid meeting, answering technical questions from the bidders, reviewing submittals, and providing a final technical recommendation. 

Onsite Project Support

During the project, we can be onsite to assist as a third-party owner’s engineer / implementation manager, overseeing all contractors involved with the cooling tower work. This includes general technical oversight, project management, QAQC, and final inspection/acceptance. 

Unwanted heat and cooling transfer robbing deposits, that are built-up during normal operating conditions, are removed from industrial process equipment by injecting and circulating custom-blended chemical formulations, under controlled conditions. 

Gas Turbine Evaporative Cooling results in more energy per cubic metre of natural gas. Munters high efficiency evaporative cooling media increase the combustion air density by reducing the combustion air temperature. Using Munters adiabatic cooling media power output is increased by at least 5%-6%. Cooler air has a higher density, boosting the output of the turbine.

Holz manufactures and offers a variety of expansion joints to meet customers needs. Holz  spends the time working with customers to understand and identify which expansion joint works best for the specific application. Their expansion joint capabilities include piping, flue duct, high temperature, and metallic expansion joints.
